Chloroplasts and mitochondria are organelles found in the cells of living organisms and perform functions vital for the survival of the cell.
Structural similarities between mitochondria and chloroplast:
- Have their own DNA.
- Enclosed by two membranes (double membraned).
- Involve oxygen and carbon dioxide in their processes.
- Have fluids inside their structure.
Functional differences between mitochondria and chloroplast:
