1. A country will be able to produce more goods and services and generate more national income only if it possess large number of entrepreneurs. Thus entrepreneurs are an asset to the country.
2. Entrepreneurs help the country to reduce its dependence on foreign imports by producing them domestically.
3. They mobilise the savings of the general public through shares and debentures. Public savings are then used by investors to set up their business resulting in capital formation which is crucial for the development of the country.
