Does the change in the price of commodities affect the individual demand curve and the market demand curve in the same proportion? Reason it out with the help of an appropriate diagram.

The change in price of commodities doesnot affect the individual demand curve and market demand curve in the same proportion.
The market demand curve is flatter than the individual demand curve this is because the proportionate change in market demand is more than proportionate change in individual demand .
