Expert Answer
A monochromatic light(i.e light of single wavelength) on passing htrough the prism suffers deviation which is given by
δ=A(μ-1)
On the other hand A(μ1-μ2) is used in case of dispersion when the ray of light consists different wavelength and is known as angular dispersion.
