position x(t) = t - sin(t)
speed v(t) = dx(t)/dt = 1 - cos(t)
speed will be maximum when t = n π , where n = 1, 3, 5, etc
maximum speed vmax = 1 - (-1) = 2
speed at t = π/2 , v = 1 - 0 = 1
ratio of speed at t = π/2 to maximum speed = 1/2
