answered-by-expert Expert Answer
The second law states that rate of change of momentum of an object is proportional to the applied unbalanced force in the direction of the force.
F=ma
F= force
m= mass
a = acceleration
Second law is quantitative in nature and used for calculation extensively.According to second law the acceleration is directly proportional to force,larger the force, greater would be the accelertaion whereas it is inversly proportional to mass greater the mass smaller would be the acceleration produced by the given force.
