Total Electric flux is related to closed surface of a given volume.
As per gauss's law total electric flux over a closed surface is q/ε , where q is the total charge enclosed inside the closed surface
and ε is permitivity of the enclosed medium.

Hence let us place a charge q inside a cube, then the total electric flux over a closed surface is q/ε .

Flux at a given point means , we need som area around the point. It is assumed required flux indicates the flux passing through this area.

Flux passing through the given area is product of electric field intensity and area of the surface, provided the electric field vector is normal to the surface.

If we consider that the charge is placed at A of the cube as shown in figure,

the flux passing through an area dA at point B, D and E = begin mathsize 12px style fraction numerator q over denominator 4 πε subscript 0 straight a squared end fraction cross times d A end style
the flux passing through an area dA at point C, F and H = begin mathsize 12px style fraction numerator q over denominator 4 πε subscript 0 open parentheses square root of 2 straight a close parentheses squared end fraction cross times d A space equals space fraction numerator q over denominator 8 πε subscript 0 a squared end fraction cross times d A end style

the flux passing through an area dA at point G = begin mathsize 12px style fraction numerator q over denominator 4 πε subscript 0 open parentheses 3 straight a squared close parentheses end fraction cross times d A space equals space fraction numerator q over denominator 12 πε subscript 0 straight a squared end fraction cross times d A space end style
