A triangular loop is given in x-y plane. A current carrying wire is placed perpendicular to the plane. If current starts increasing at the rate of R, then find emf induced in the loop.

Current carrying wire is perpendicular to the plane of triangular loop. Hence direction of magnetic field is parallel to the plane of triangular loop.
Induced EMF E = - ( dφ / dt ) , where φ is flux of magnetic field .
Flux of magnetic field φ =
Since magnetic field vector and area vector are perpendicular to each other , flux φ = 0
( area vector is perpendicular to area by convention )
Hence induced EMF due to magnetic field produced by current carrying wire is zero
