why is respiration considered as an exothermic reaction? Explai...!!!

These carbohydrates taken in the form of food are broken down to glucose during the process of digestion.

The glucose is oxidised by the oxygen inhaled during respiration, carbon dioxide, water and heat are formed as products.

As this process involves the evolution of heat, this process is an exothermic process.
