Expert Answer
Objects are either; transparent, translucent, or opaque depending on the amount of light that is able to pass through them.
Transparent objects allow all the light falling on it to pass through them. Thus, we can see clearly through transparent objects. For eg, glass, water.
Transluscent objects are those which allow only some light to pass through them. We cannot see clearly through such objects. For e.g., butter paper
Opaque objects are those which do not allow the light to pass through them. Thus, we cannot see through these objects. For e.g., wall, wooden table etc.
