Expert Answer:

Tissues are a collection of a number of cells. With the help of this arrangement, the cells are able to perform certain functions methodically and in co-operation with each other.
If the cells are not arranged in an orderly manner in the form of tissues, their functions will not be easily maintained. Thus tissues keep the cells in order and help them in performing different functions.
