Who decides whether a person is guilty or not?

For an accused person to be proven guilty, there are some steps which are followed. They are
- The police files a report and arrests the person who has seemed to violate the law.
- After the arrest of the person, it is the court of law that decides whether the accused is guilty or not.
- According to our Constitution, every individual is given a fair trial to prove his/her innocence.
- On the basis of the facts and proofs, the judge decides whether the person is guilty or innocent.
