Expert Answer:

To find final velocity after time t when initial velocity is given in uniformely accelerated motion, first equation of motion is used.

To find distance travelled in time t when initial velocity is given in uniformely accelerated motion, second equation of motion is used.

To find final velocity after covering some distance when initial velocity is given in uniformely accelerated motion, third equation of motion is used.
