when ever a body is in free fall then it gets a weightlessness. why?

Mass remains constant but weight is the force with which the earth pulls the
body to itself. Weight is felt by the support given to us by the floor.
Weightlessness is a result of free fall because while free fall the floor is not giving us any support and we are falling under the effect of gravity. The moment a body is topped in between the entire weight returns back because the support would press upward into them.
