Asked by hardik gupta | 18 Nov, 2013, 06:05: PM
answered-by-expert Expert Answer
When a body is completely submerged in a liquid, the buoyant force will be maximum.
When the body is completely submerged, it displaces maximum volume of liquid.

Buoyant force is the weight of the liquid displaced. Hence, when the body is completely submerged it displaces the maximum volume of liquid, and hence buoyant force is maximum.
