Expert Answer
Development is related to the occupational structure of the population.
It is because when the higher percentage of the population is engaged in primary activities like farming, fishing and mining, then the development of the country will be slow.
As the economy develops, more people get engaged into the secondary activities like manufacturing. In highly developed countries, a large percentage of people are involved in service sector like banking, transportation, commerce etc.
