What is Presbyopia? How can it be corrected?
Asked by Topperlearning User | 04 Jun, 2014, 01:23: PM
Presbyopia is an eye defect of old age. Elasticity of ciliary muscles becomes weak and it is not able to change shape and the focal length of eye lens effectively to see near and far away objects.
To correct Presbyopia, bi-focal lenses are used in spectacles. Bi-focal lenses have both converging as well as diverging lens.
