Power sharing refers to the sharing or division of power. It can be between governments, various political parties and various sections of society.
Examples of power sharing in our society can be:
- At out homes itself where power sharing is done by the division of responsibilities between the mother and father.
- At the government level, between the centre, state and local governments.
- In schools and colleges, power sharing is in different forms like the Principal is given the power and responsibility of managing the entire administration of the school or college, teachers have individual powers and responsibilities with respect to their class and teaching etc, teaching staff appoint students who become monitors and heads, we also have class monitors.
