Assuming that the question is laws of refraction below is the answer for the same:
(i) The incident ray, the refracted ray and the normal all lie in the same plane.
(ii) The ratio of the sine of the angle of incidence in the first medium to the sine of the angle of refraction in the second medium is a constant known as refractive index of the second medium with respect to the first medium.
(ii) The ratio of the sine of the angle of incidence in the first medium to the sine of the angle of refraction in the second medium is a constant known as refractive index of the second medium with respect to the first medium.
sin i/ sin r = constant = μ
These are the laws of refraction.
Refractive index - The light-bending ability of medium is called refractive index.
Absolute refractive index - When the light is passing from vacuum/air to another medium is called absolute refractive index.
Relative refractive index - when the light is passing from one medium (other than vacuum/air) to another medium is called relative refractive index.
