what's the perimeter and area of quadrilateral?

Expert Answer
Perimeter of any figure is the sum of lengths of its boundaries.
So, perimeter of a quadrilateral = Sum of lengths of all four sides
Area of a quadrilateral is obtained by dividing it into two triangles with the help of one of the diagonals. Then, use the formula for area of triangle and add the two areas.
So, area of a quadrilateral = ARea of triangle 1 + Area of triangle 2, where triangle 1 + triangle 2 = quadrilateral
