ICSE Class 6 Answered
tyers of trucks are grooved
Asked by skadtpatna | 04 Oct, 2018, 20:35: PM
Grroves on the tyres of the truck help it to maintain proper friction with the road. If there is water on the road the grooves allow water to escape beneath the tyres which avoide hydroplaning. (hydroplaning- loss of traction due to the film of water beneath the tyre and thus preventing the vehicle to respond to the control inputs like steering, brakes)
