Since each leg is inclined at an angle 75, and we know the height.
Hence sin 75 = Height of stool/Length of leg.
Length of leg = Height of stood / sin 75
= 1.5 m / 0.97 = 1.55 m
Since he has to put two steps at equal intervals, so the height i.e. 1.5 m is divided into 3 equal lengths.
1.5/3 = 0.5 m,
Similaly the length of the leg is also divided into 1.55/3 = 0.52 m
So the little part of the step, that extends beyond the 0.5 m of square side on both sides
= (0.522 - 0.52) = 0.14 m
Hence the length of the step = 0.5 m + 2x0.14 m = 0.78 m.
Similarly for the remaining step = 1.0 + 2 x (1.042 - 12) = 1.57 m
