thye cross section ofa canel is atrapezium is shape if the cannel is 10m wide at the top and 6m wide at the bottom and the area of the cross section is 840m sq find the depth of thecannel

Area of a Trapezium =1/2 × sum of parallel sides  × height =1/2 × (a + b)  × h 
840 = 1/2 × (10 + 6) × h
h = 105 m
Therefore depth of the cannel is 105 m
