the formula of hexane is c^6H^14. then how come the formula of cyclohexane is C^6H^12

Hexane and cyclohexane both belong to two diiferent class of compounds.
Hexane is from the class alkane which has general molecular foemula CnH2n+2 while cyclohexane belongs to cycloalkane having general molecular formula CnH2n.
Also while drawing the structure of the two compounds we can easily find out the molecular formula.
