Potential difference across A and B is given as, VAB = VAC + VCD + VDE + VEB
where VAC = 2 V , potential difference across A and C ,
VCD = 1 A × 2 Ω = 2 V , potential difference across C and D ,
VDE = -5 V , potential difference across D and E ,
VEB = 1 A × 1 Ω = 1 V , potential difference across E and B
VAB = VAC + VCD + VDE + VEB = ( 2 + 2 -5 +1 ) = 0 V
