x = a sin2wt = a [ 1-cos2wt]/2 = a/2 - (a/2)cos2wt ...................(1)
 
angular frequency of motion described by eqn.(1) = 2w
linear frequency = ( angular frequecy) / ( 2π ) = 2w/2π = w/π
