If q' is the charge of inner sphere which is earthed, this inner sphere charge q'  will induce a charge -q'
in inner surface of outer sphere and +q' on outer surface. Net charge on outer sphere is q.
 
Potential of inner sphere is due to its own charge q'  and  due to net charge on outer sphere.
 
Since potential of inner sphere is zero due to earthing,  we have,    begin mathsize 14px style fraction numerator q apostrophe over denominator 4 πε subscript 0 space straight r subscript 1 end fraction space plus fraction numerator q over denominator 4 πε subscript 0 space straight r subscript 2 end fraction space equals space 0 space space space space o r space space q apostrophe space equals space minus r subscript 1 over r subscript 2 space q end style
