(x - 1)2 - 2|x - 1| - 3 ≤ 0
If you check it for option B which is [-2, 4] it satisfies the given inequality.
 
For x = -2
(-3)2 - 2|-3| - 3 = 9 - 6 - 3 = 0 
Hence, the correct option is B.
