answered-by-expert Expert Answer
velocity = frequency × wavelength

20 (m/s) = 50 (Hz) × wavelength

hence wavelength = 20/50 = 0.4 m = 40 cm

If wavelength is 40 cm, pathdifference of 10 cm is (1/4) times wavelength.

If T is time period of one wave,  time difference for 10 cm = (1/4) T  = (1/4)×(1/50) = ( 1/200 ) s
