Let the Mohan's present age = x years
then Sohan's age = (x + 15) years

Mohan's age = (x - 3)years
then Sohan's age = (x + 15 - 3) years = (x + 12) years
 
3 years ago, Sohan's age was two times Mohan's age. 
(x + 12) = 2(x - 3)
x + 12 = 2x - 6
x = 18
 
Therefore the present age of Mohan = 6 years and the present age of Sohan = x + 15 = 33 years.
