Figure shows the forces acting on the mass and resolved components related to this question. As shown in figure resolved component of weight (mg sinθ) and centripetal force ( mω2r ) acting against the frictional force (μ mg cosθ ) . μ is the friction coefficient.
mg sinθ + mω2r = μ mg cosθ;
Hence μ = tanθ + ω2r /(g cosθ)
substitute the values of θ, ω and r in the above relation and get the value of μ
