Relative density is defined as the ratio of a given substance with respect to a reference material.

Relative density of silver = 10.8
Relative density of silver = Density of silver/density of water
Density of silver= Relative density of silver * density of water
                        =10.8 x 10 kg/m3

                        = 108 kg/m3
