Razia Sultana was the first woman ruler of Delhi in the 13^th century. It was the time when people were not accustomed of seeing woman as a ruler or on a powerful position. She was an able ruler but was constantly opposed by the nobles for being a ruler.

As compared to the 13^th century, we can say that women leaders are more easily accepted today. Today, we find women on high positions in several companies. However, it can also be pointed out that number of these women are far less as compared to men.
