The merchant export his cloth in the international market in the following ways:

Merchants lived in towns but the cloth was spun, pleated, weaved and dyed in teh countryside by artisans and craftsmen

A merchant clothier first purchased yarn and wool from wool stapler

The yarn was spun by the spinners

Fullers then gathered the cloth by pleating

Cloth was then dyed by the dyers

Finishing was done in London

The merchant then sold the cloth in the international market
