Expert Answer
Tension on the string( or wire) connected to top of pulley is sum of tension of left side string and right side string.
Hence tension on the string( or wire) connected to top of pulley is 2 kgf+6 kgf = 8 kgf
Hence spring balance reading is corresponding to 8 kgf
