Pressure inside a soap bubble, Pin = Patm + [ ( 4 T ) / R ]  - [ σ2 / ( 2εo ) ]  ............................(1)

Second term is due to surface tension T and third term is due to surface charge density σ. R is radius of bubble.

Excess pressure Δp = Pin - Patm = [ ( 4 T ) / R ]  - [ σ2 / ( 2εo ) ] = 0

Hence from above equation, we get T = [ ( R σ2 ) / ( 8εo ) ] .......................... (2)

surface charge density, σ = Q/[ 4π R2 ] = 10-10 / [ 4 π × 4 × 10-6 ] ≈ 2 × 10-6 C/m2

Hence we get surface tension from eqn.(2) as , T = ( 2 × 10-3 × 4 × 10-12 )/ ( 8 × 8.854 × 10-12 ) = 1.13 × 10-4 N/m
