p(X)=x2-(k+6)(X+2)(2k-1) then find the value of k is alpha+beta =1/2 alpha beta

This can be solved as follows:
p(x) = x2-(k+6)(X+2)(2k-1)
= x2 – (k+6)(2k-1)(x+2)
= x2 – (2k2 + 11k – 6)(x + 2)
= x2 – (2k2 + 11k – 6)x – (4k2 + 22k – 12)
