Expert Answer
Let number of people that watch TV = A and number of people that listen radio = B
According to the conditions in the given questions, we get
n(A∩B')' = 12 → n(A'υB)= 12
n(A'∩B')' = 9 → n(AυB)= 9
n(AυB) - n(A∩B) = 7
With the help of the below Venn Diagram , we will find the value of A and B.
From the above Venn Diagram A = 2 + 2 = 4 and B = 2 + 5 = 7
Therefore the number of people that watch TV is 4 the number of people that listen radio is 7.
