nita is three years younger than her brother mohan. 5 years ago, three fifths of his age was equal to three fourths of her age. What is their present ages now?

Let Mohan's age = x years
 
Nita is three years younger than her brother Mohan.
 
Nita's age = (x - 3) years
 

5 years ago, three fifths of his age was equal to three fourths of her age.

After solving above equation, we get

x = 20 years 

Therefore,  Mohan's age = 20 years and Nita's age = (x - 3) years = 20 - 3 = 17 years
