Let f(x)=mod. (x-1)+mod.(x-2) -1
 
for -infinity
 
f(x) = -(x-1) - (x-2) -1 
 
       = -2x+2 
 
for 1?x?2
 
f(x)= x-1 -x+2 -1= 0
 
for x>2
 
f(x)= x-1+x-2-1
 
     = 2x-4
 
Therefore,
 
Range = ( -infinity , + infinity)
