Expert Answer

M is a point inside a square ABCD so that ΔMCD is equilateral triangle .

BEC = MED = 180

^{o}- EMD - MDE .........................(1) EMD = 60

^{o}In square ABCD, angle between diagonal BD and side DC is 45

^{o}.Hence , we have , MDE = 60

^{o}- EDC = 60^{o }- 45^{o}= 15^{o}............................(2)By substituiting MDE and EMD in eqn.(1) , we get

BEC = 180

^{o}- 60^{o}- 15^{o}= 105^{o}( Q.E.D )
