in an examination a student must get 40% marks to pass. a student gets 48 marks out of 200. express his marks as a percentage. how many more marks should he have got to pass the examination

Marks space required space to space pass equals 40 percent sign space of space 200 equals 40 over 100 cross times 200 equals 80
Marks space received space by space students equals 48
rightwards double arrow Percentage space equals 48 over 200 cross times 100 equals 24 percent sign
Additional space marks space required space for space student space to space pass
equals Marks space required space to space pass space minus space Mass space received space by space students
equals 80 minus 48
equals 32
