Let s1 and s2 be the sides of the two squares.
rightwards double arrow straight s subscript 1 squared over straight s subscript 2 squared equals 9 over 1 Ratio space of space perimeters equals fraction numerator 4 straight s subscript 1 over denominator 4 straight s subscript 2 end fraction equals straight s subscript 1 over straight s subscript 2 equals 3 over 1
SO, the ratio of their perimeters is 3:1.
