Newton's Second Law of Motion states that acceleration is directly proportional to net force and inversely proportional to mass.
This is mathematically expressed as
F = ma
Here, F is net force, m is mass, and an is acceleration.
This means that as the net force on a body is more, so will be its acceleration. If the net force decreases, the acceleration decreases as well.
For example: Consider pushing a box with constant force, causing it to move in the force's direction. Increased force accelerates the box faster, whereas decreasing force accelerates it slower.
