Coulomb force F betweemn charges q1 and q2 when they are at a distance r apart is given by,

F  = begin mathsize 14px style K space fraction numerator q subscript 1 space q subscript 2 over denominator r squared end fraction end style.........................(1)
if charges are doubled and distance is also doubled, then changed force F' = begin mathsize 14px style K space fraction numerator 2 q subscript 1 space 2 q subscript 2 over denominator open parentheses 2 r close parentheses squared end fraction space equals space fraction numerator q subscript 1 space end subscript q subscript 2 over denominator r squared end fraction end style .....................(2)
Hence there is no change in magnitude of force
