CBSE Class 10 Answered
if p is a zero of polynomial 2x^2-5x+3, find the value of p?
Asked by singhnisha2606 | 13 Jul, 2018, 20:32: PM
2x2 - 5x + 3 = 2x2 - 2x - 3x + 3
= 2x(x - 1) - 3(x - 1)
= (x - 1)(2x - 3)
Zeroes of a polynomial are 1 and 3/2.
Hence, p can take value either 1 or 3/2.
