Let one of the zeroes be 'a'
So, the other zero is 7a.
Using the relation between the coefficients and zeroes of the polynomials, we have
straight a plus 7 straight a equals 8 over 3 rightwards double arrow 8 straight a equals 8 over 3 rightwards double arrow straight a equals 1 third Also comma space straight a cross times 1 over straight a equals fraction numerator 2 straight k plus 1 over denominator 3 end fraction rightwards double arrow 2 straight k plus 1 equals 3 rightwards double arrow straight k equals 1
