Expert Answer
P(x) = 8x3 - 4x2 - 34x - 15
According to the question,
(x - 1/2) is a factor of the given polynomial.
8x3 - 4x2 - 34x - 15 = (x - 1/2)(8x2 - 8x - 30)
= 2(x - 1/2)(4x2 - 4x - 15)
= 2(x - 1/2)(2x + 3)(2x - 5)
Hence, other zeroes of a polynomial are -3/2 and 5/2.
