The common ratio in GP is obtained by dividing any term of it by its preceding term.
 
2 to the power of n d end exponent space t e r m equals square root of 6 3 to the power of r d end exponent space t e r m equals 9 square root of 6 C o m m o n space r a t i o equals fraction numerator 9 square root of 6 over denominator square root of 6 end fraction equals 9 over 1
