Suppose the marked price is Rs. 100.
First discount is of 50% on 100 = Rs. 50
100 - 50 = 50
Second discount = 50% of 50 = Rs. 25
Selling price = 100 - 50 - 25 = 100 - (50 + 25) = 100 - 75 = Rs. 25
Here the marked price = 1200
Selling price is 25% of marked price.
Selling price = (25/100)× 1200 = Rs. 300
